A lonely tiger learns that in order to make friends, he just has to learn how to smile.

the background

The author was a mom who wanted to create a series of books based on the bedtime stories she'd told her children. As such, I had to ensure that the main character of Tee Tee had to be distinctive enough to carry a whole series of books, along with a plush toy she was planning on making. 

​

I designed Tee Tee to look grouchy, but still cuddly, so he'd look less like a scary predator and more like a misunderstood teddy bear.
