Why Do You Always Say No?

ack is a cheeky and curious boy who lives in sunny Singapore. During a trip to England to visit his  grandmother, Jack is drawn to the fireplace, having never seen one before.

 

As he goes to touch the dancing flames, Mama stops him with a firm "No!"—which makes Jack very unhappy. "Why do you always say no?" Jack asks. Mama replies like she usually does--unconventionally.
